07 Feb Week of 1/31 Updates

This past week, we made a fair amount of progress despite the absence of several sub-contractors due to the weather. The lateral and water connections from the street were completed, all HVAC connections down to the mechanical room were finished and plumbing connections in the three sold units is virtually complete. In addition, the heat pump H/W heaters are getting installed. These heaters only draw 700 watts versus 4,700 for a traditional electric heaters. In addition, they have the potential to communicate with our local electric utility to determine when the least expensive time to purchase electricity is.

This week, the weather looks dry and warm enough to backfill around the perimeter (i.e. the dirt mound is finally unfrozen enough to move it) and start the brickwork. On the interior, electrical connections are continuing to be installed, sprinkler and other plumbing work should be completed and specialty work on each of the sold units will start.
